Scott Cason shares his excitement in using Packback to encourage organic class discussions

In just three weeks, Scott Cason noticed a difference in how students interacted with Packback discussions compared to discussion boards he’s used in the past. Students weren’t posting on Packback to hit a class requirement but were organically conversing about class topics that interested them.

“I’ve really enjoyed the experience of using Packback [for] the first three weeks. I’m really seeing what I believe to be organic conversations in my class. I believe the students are reacting very positively to the kind of almost gamifying of the discussion board… They’re looking to interact with each other even more so than I’ve seen in other classes… I’ve been satisfied with the level of discourse. I would love to continue this into the future.”
