During this session, the panelists discussed how AI text detection works and how we can better prevent misuse of generative AI for writing assignments. Furthermore, best practices when navigating student interventions after AI-text detection were discussed as well.

Dr. Rufus Glasper, President of The League for Innovation in the Community College provided opening remarks. Panelists Kelsey Behringer (Packback COO) and Kathleen Borbee (Professor at Monroe Community College) discussed AI text detection, prevention of misuse of AI generative technologies, and best practices for navigating student interventions.
